Ian Patrick Eviston, known as I. P. Eviston, was born in 1992 in Louisville, Kentucky. His journey into writing began in 7th grade with short stories. His passion for fantasy fiction led him to write his first full novel in college. In 2019, as a single father working full-time, Ian completed Demonslayer during his lunch breaks and late nights. This book is the first of a five-part series, The Vanguard Chronicles, set in the magical realm of Ilura. Ian enjoys Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, and traveling. He lives with his son, two Australian Shepherds, a cat named Burger, and the love of his life.
